Dr Philippe Buchet has more than 30 years of experience in energy efficiency for industries and transition to net zero carbon. He started his career in a thermal engineering firm in France working on High efficiency technologies for steel, aluminum and glass manufacturing processes and advanced control command systems. He joined ENGIE in 1994 to develop energy and environmental services and later moved on to the corporate R&D function as Director of Research Programs and now as Senior Global Expert for Energy and Environmental Efficiency & “Transition to Net zero carbon footprint” for B to B & B to T supporting the development in Europe, USA, LATAM and Asia-Pacific.
He is also he is also CEO of the research association RECORD (Lyon – France) for environmental and circular economy and member of GERG (European Group for Gas Research), and advisor on several organization on energy transition
