Mr Pål Rasmussen is working as Relationship Manager in Gassco AS, Norway, with a wide range of responsibilities within external relations.
Prior to this, he served as the Secretary General of the International Gas Union (IGU). He has more than 25 years of experience from the gas industry. Before assuming the position as Secretary General, Rasmussen worked for Gassco A/S in various positions, including long- range planning, company strategy, business plans, improvement programs and new infrastructure development projects. Gassco A/S is responsible the operation and future development of Norwegian gas transportation system, and are as operator bringing all Norwegian gas to Europe. He has, for many years, been active in stakeholder work on a national and international level for Gassco.
Rasmussen holds a masters degree in economics and management.
