After graduating from the Ecole National Supérieure d’Arts et Métiers and the IFP Energies Nouvelles School, Jean started his career has petroleum economist lecturer at IFPEN school.
Jean then joined TotalEnergies in 1992 as economist in Paris. He then held commercial positions in the gas and LNG business in Norway, the UK, the USA and Indonesia.
He returned in France in 2010 as Vice President South America in the E&P Branch.
He has since 2015 held the position of VP LNG Marketing in the Gas Renewable and Power branch within the LNG Business unit.
