- TI5: ENVIRONMENTAL POLICIES AND NATURAL GAS PRICING: CAN GAS PROVIDE AN ECONOMICALLY FEASIBLE WAY TO ENERGY TRANSITION
Dr. Subbaraman is Institute Fellow and Project Development Director at GTI’s Hydrogen Technology Centre. His expertise is in hydrogen production from natural gas with economical CO2 capture, with prior experience in oil & gas, electric power and aerospace industries. He serves as the co-lead of the Power Generation Technical Subcommittee in Low-Carbon Research Initiative between GTI and EPRI. He is also courtesy professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at the University of Central Florida (UCF). His latest patent is on turbine compatible hydrogen fuel for power generation. His Ph.D is in Nuclear Science and Engineering from Virginia Tech.
